The day after our Blue Mountains trip we went to Manly in Sydney's north, where I could go shark diving. There are Wobbegongs, Port Jackson Sharks and Grey Nurse Sharks in the tank of Oceanworld. It's an amazing feeling being next to a 3.8 m shark without glass or anything inbetween. There is also a nice beach in Manly but we did not have the time to go swimming there as there was another big event for us on the horizon. We went to the Syndey Opera House at night to listen to Maurice Ravel's "Bolero" in the Concert Hall and it was fantastic. Our last full day in Sydney we spent in The Rocks, especially at Susannah Place, a conserved set of buildings from Sydney's early days. Before we flew to Tasmania on 24 February we visited an exhibition in the Botanic Gardens about carnivorous plants and orchids.
